たくさんのきれいな景色と美味しい食べ物、優しくて明るい島の人たちとも出逢う事が出来て、とてもリフレッシュできました。

国内待望の個展では、絵画史上最大級の全長100メートルに及ぶ「五百羅漢図」が日本で初公開されています。

村上隆は国際的に最も高い評価を得ている現代美術作家の1人です。
ロサンゼルス現代美術館を皮切りに世界巡回した回顧展をはじめ、ヴェルサイユ宮殿やロックフェラーセンター前広場などさまざまな場所で大型インスタレーションを発表しました。
その圧倒的なスケール感と完成度の高さにより世界中の人々を驚嘆させてきました。

今回の個展も現代美術史への新たな挑戦となる新作の数々でした。

中村キース・ヘリング美術館の新展示室で photographer 、Leslie Kee 氏の特別展を見に行ってきました。

自身もゲイであったキース・ヘリングは、エイズでこの世を去る1990年まで、アートを通した様々なアクティビズムを行いました。

「OUT IN JAPAN」　は身近な存在としてのセクシュアル・マイノリティを可視化させ、正しい知識や理解を広げるきっかけとなることを目的としています。

NYのメット・ガラや、パリのグラン・パレで開かれた「CHANEL」のショー会場内にいる
ラガーフェルドを探し当てるというもので、全15シーンの中には渋谷の交差点も舞台の一つになっている。
ラガーフェルドのほかにニコラ・フォルミケッティ、フィービー・ファイロ、リカルド・ティッシ、オルセン姉妹などのデザイナーやアナ・ウィンター、スージー・メンケルなどのファッション業界の大御所、テリーリチャードソン、レディーガガ、バラクオバマまで、モデルや俳優、アーティストなどが随所に登場。
